I got invited to watch my brother Dallas and his band play at Rhythm & Brews this past weekend. Dallas asked me to bring my camera along and snap some pictures. They were awesome, the place was packed out, and a good time was had by all! Here are a few of my favorite pictures I took that night.
Hey y’all. So sorry to have been such a slacker with updating my blog lately. The Christmas season was soo busy with family photo sessions and parties and such. I had the opportunity to photograph Amos & Jana’s family and I love how the photos turned out! : ) Here are some of my favorite images from the session.
My best friend had a baby on November 24th. She invited me into the delivery room to witness childbirth for the first time. Wow, to be able to witness such a miracle is just amazing! Of course I had my camera with me and snapped some photos that day. Here is a little peek into the day’s festivities! : )
I was so excited to photograph my lovely friend Melanie’s wedding at the Gassaway Mansion this November. Melanie made a gorgeous bride and Tim, a handsome groom! I really enjoyed celebrating in their love for one another. Here are a few images from that day! Enjoy!
My cousin Heidi had a baby yesterday. I made a quick trip up to the hospital before I had to go to the airport. I brought my camera along so I could snap a few images at the hospital. Here she is, Miss Emalynn! Isn’t she just ADORABLE?

Let me begin by saying Holly and BJay were such an amazing couple to work with. With the couple having dated for 5 years prior to getting married made it so natural for me to capture the great chemistry between them. The location they chose to get married at was at a stunning golf course in beautiful Charleston, SC. The ceremony site overlooked the harbor. They chose to see each other before the ceremony, which made my job a million times less stressful. We got the majority of the photos taken care of prior to the ceremony, which made it much easier for the bridal party, families, and bride & groom to enjoy the reception.
I really enjoyed photographing Ashlan and Quincey’s wedding on Thursday. They are a really sweet couple. Something really fun and different about this wedding is the fact that they included dogs and horses in the ceremony. The dogs were the honorary flower girl and ring bearer, and the Bride and her father rode up on Horses. Here are some of my favorites from the day!
My cousin Ashlan got married on Thursday and I had the opportunity to photograph her bridal portraits a couple of weeks prior to the wedding. We took these photos at the beautiful Walnut Lane Inn in Lyman. For this portrait session, we were able to include her horse, Ella and her dog, MuffyCharlotte. I like doing something a little bit out of the ordinary with the Bridal portraits, so that was a fun little twist. Here are some of my favorites from that session.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet little baby boy, and by the time I left the sitting, Nolan had already captured my heart. During the shoot his mommy mentioned wishing she could get an unbiased opinion, because she thought he was the most adorable baby boy in the world. I don’t have any kids of my own, so I can agree with mommy! : ) Here he is!! I have several favorite pictures of this little cutie! (and one with Hemi, the dog) Enjoy!
I’ve known Holly since I can remember. She’s my cousin and I remember when we were neighbors when I was in the 2nd Grade…we used to walk through the woods to get to eachother’s houses. Well, now Holly is married!! I had the joy of doing her wedding photography this weekend in beautiful Charleston, SC. So after we took pictures in the beautiful rose garden, we were driving to a new location as we passed a baseball field. Holly’s fiance is really into baseball, so we stopped and took pictures in the stands, on the field and in the dug out. This was so much fun!!
